March 1 – Change IV

Somewhat causiously, I carried the bright lime green over into more than a stripe. The nice thing about working with dry paint underneath is that, if a new color bugs you, you can wipe it off (although some of it always stays). I love it. The officially got rid of the red stripes. I love red as a color underneath the top color. It does wonderful things up close. I was enjoying some of the potato head highlight color and carried that over (but mixed it with a bit of the lime green this time). Then dealt with the bottom left corner. More of the green that is the one remainting stripe jumped over there. I like it. Lastly, I placed some of these colors on the hands and arms and tongue and glasses and covered the shoes with some lime green dry-brushing (which lightly adds a bit of color) in order to carry the eye across the canvas again.
